昨年台中市で開催の予定だった世界蘭会議が、24日から行われますが、オンラインで蘭を鑑賞することが出来ます。お好きな方は是非ごらんください。

第23回世界蘭会議、バーチャル展示開催へ（2021年4月24日~5月3日）

昨年3月9日から18日まで台中市（台湾中部）で開催される予定だった第23回「世界蘭会議（WOC）」が24日より、バーチャル展示及びビデオカンファレンスとしてスタートする。

このイベントは、専門家が学術的な研究発表を行う「カンファレンス（会議）部門」と、蘭の展示・品評を行う「展示部門」の2部門からなる。

台中市農業局によると、台中市で行う今年の「展示部門」は、専門家、業界団体、生産者、景観・デザイン関連の大学関係者のみに入場を限定する。

一方でバーチャル展示を並行することで、より多くの人が時間や空間の制限を超えて、蘭の美しさをよりリアルに感じることができるという。詳細は公式サイトを参照のこと。（台中市提供、中央社）

第一展示館：　樂農館

この展示館では、蘭のデザイナーたちが自由な表現で蘭の美しさ表現します。
蘭の展示コンペティションでは、何万もの蘭が使用してこのスペースを美しくクリエートします。

Orchids are the most beautiful paint for displays. With different materials, sizes, and skills, orchids shows different appearances. Designers can freely present personal style on displays. This area’s main theme display and display competition will use over ten thousands of orchids to create the most beautiful space. People can involve in and feel the happiness.

第二展示館：　智農館　原生蘭特別展示

1000種以上の原生種の蘭が展示されています。

[A thousand rare orchids right in front of your eyes] There will be over 1,000 species of native orchids along the path for all to watch and enjoy. The creators of this exhibit hope to impress visitors with Phalaenopsis amabilis, Cyprepedium and Pleione from high elevation, and Dracua (the Monkey orchid), all of which are Taiwan’s endemic orchid species, and the long efforts to preserve these orchids in their natural habitat.

第三展示館：智農館文創區　「Reborn」

今までの蘭の持つ価値に更に新しい価値を加え、日常の生活の中に蘭を活用したデザインを提案します。
“Reborn” denotes building on existing characteristics with something novel and of value. One factor is how to extend orchids to everyday life to transform the many uses of orchids like newborns coming to this world.
